After studying at the European Institute of Design in Milan, Cristina Amodeo began working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Botany enthusiast and dog lover, her subjects of choice are often found in the shapes, colors, and compositions of her striking cut-paper illustrations. Her work stands out for its elegant style and unique color combinations, rendering her delicate imagery immediately recognizable.
She is the author of Dogs and Chairs: Designer Pairs (Thames & Hudson, 2015 - selected at Ilustrarte 2016) and illustrator of Matisse's Garden (MoMA Publications, 2014), V&A Fashion Gallery Dolls (V&A Publishing, 2016) and Nella Nuova Fattoria… (Nuages, 2017).
