SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submission Guidelines:

We are always interested in new talent and new voices. We look for authors and illustrators who have something compelling to say in a fresh, surprising, and unusual way. We look for artists with a vision. We like high concept stories and picture books that connect emotionally with the readers. And we take a real shine to humor.

We accept electronic submissions but cannot always acknowledge receipt of material.

Your submission should include a letter giving a description of the project, a brief biography, the target age for the book, competing or comparable titles (books that are similar to yours) and an explanation of how your project differs from these titles. Your proposal should include a pdf of the manuscript and/or storyboard. If you are an illustrator, please include the technique of the illustrations.

Please write "submission letter" in the subject of the Email. If you are submitting to other agents, please make this clear in your submission letter. Unfortunately, we cannot provide editorial feedback or advice about other agencies.

Due to the number of submissions received and reviewed every week, we cannot reply to each and every one of them. If we are interested in your work, we will respond to you within 4 to 6 weeks. If you don't hear back from us within 6 weeks, please consider your project/work not in line with what we are looking for.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Please send your submissions to: db@debbiebiboagency.com + id@debbiebiboagency.com
